Team Format: All team members need to fill out an individual entry form.
Adult Team Bowling is made up of 4 members: male, female, or mixed teams competing in 3 divisions: “A Division” - total team average of 650 +, “B Division” - total team average of 649 & under and Open Division-No team average limit.
Youth Team Bowling is made up of 4 members: male, female, mixed teams competing in one division. All team divisions will bowl 3 games, their total score bowled plus their team handicap will equal their total score.
NEW Adult/Youth Bowling is made up of 4 members (2 adult, 2 youth): male, female or mixed teams competing in one division.
Team captains please list Team Name, all team members in bowling order on your entry form and indicate the time you would like to bowl. If you won/win a medal in the 2011 or 2012 Big Sky State Games, you will also win an invitation to the State Games of America, an opportunity to represent Montana and showcase your abilities on a national level. The 2013 State Games of America competition will be held in Hershey-Harrisburg, PA July 30 - August 4, 2013 and will feature top-level, amateur athletes from across the United States.
Tournament Rules: The tournament is sanctioned by USBC. The tournament is open to all Montana bowlers. USBC membership cards are required and available for purchase onsite. All bowlers will use their final average from the 2012-2013 season, with a minimum of 21 games. Bowlers without the above average may use their final 2010-2011 average, with a minimum of 21 games. If they do not have either average, they will bowl in the open division. All open division will bowl scratch with no handicap. All other divisions will receive handicap; handicap will be 100% of difference between bowler’s average and 210. All divisions will bowl 3 games. The top 3 scores in each division will receive medals. Medals will be awarded at the conclusion of each division session. The complete rules will be posted at the event site.
For individuals signing after July 9, Opening Ceremonies Ticket will be at the Information/Will call booth at Daylis Stadium night of Opening Ceremonies.
Eligibility Requirements Montana and residents of bordering state that do not have State Games are invited to participante (Idaho, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming) Residencey: A participant must work in, or be a resident of the state of Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota or Wyoming for at least 30 days prior to the dates of the compeetition they wish to enter. College students and military personnnel living in the state for at least 30 days may participate. Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming residents attending college or serving in the military in another state are also eligible to compete.Tobacco Policy: Tobacco products are prohibited al all Big Sky State Games events.

Athletes are responsible for securing their own lodging arrangements. The Big Sky State Games encourages all participants to make arrangements early as hotels will fill up quickly.
