8:00 a.m. - Breaking Competition Begins - Including Black Belts
9:00 a.m. - Black Belt Meeting, Bow In, Black Belt Kata, Weapons
10:00 a.m. - Age 6-15 Weapons, Kata, and Sparring
1:30 p.m. - Adult Weapons, Kata, Sparring
3:00 p.m.- Black Belt, Sparring
4:30 p.m. - Adult & Black Belt Continuous Sparring

Ellis Heggen
Commissioner

8th Year

Ellis Heggen has been involved in martial arts for over 26 years and has been assisting with the State Games for 16 years.  Ellis is a fifth-degree Assistant Chief Instructor CHA-3 Kenpo and has been an Academic Self-defense instructor at the University of Great Falls for 15 years.  He is employed by Great Falls Clinic as a Medical Materials Manager. 
 

Nelsa Heggen
Commissioner

8th Year

Nelsa has been assisting with Big Sky State Games Competition for 17  years, serving 14 of those as floor manager.  She also is the floor manager for "Fight for What's Right."  Nelsa is an Accounts Payable Technician at the
