Rules: This is a natural meet
(random drug testing will be conducted) World Powerlifting Congress
rules apply. Rules available at
www.worldpowerliftingcongress.com Gear requirements will
be strictly enforced.
Format: A Full Meet consists of
the squat, bench press and dead-lift. Athletes may also register for the
bench press only and/or dead-lift only competition. The age determination for Teens, Juniors,
and Master is July 16, 2010. Bring proof of age. Divisions may be
combined based on number of athletes. The medal winners in the Teen,
Junior, Sub Master and Master's events are based on a formula (pound per
pound). The OPEN event is based on weight divisions. An overall male and
female winner will awarded based on a formula (pound per pound).

| Second
year Commissioner, Nicole Knight, had assisted with the Big Sky State
Games since 2005. Nicole was a competitive power lifter for several
years in the 1990s. She has since stayed active in the gym. In 2004, she
became the powerlifting coach for the Yellowstone Valley Area Special
Olympics. Nicole trains four Special Olympic athletes year round. In
2007, she was honored with the Coach of the Year award for the Special
Olympics of Montana. Nicole is self-employed, having owned a sign
business for ten years. |
