Race Number:
Each participant will receive a race number at check-in. Number must be
worn on the front by each race participant during the running leg. Bikers
in the team event will also wear a number.
NOTE: Race packet
pick-up ONLY at Opening Ceremonies (Daylis Stadium), Friday, July
18 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. or Saturday,
July 19 9:00 a.m.-5 p.m.
There is no
guarantee you will be able to receive your packet
on race morning!

Jay Marschall
Commissioner

Jay
Marschall, third year commissioner, has been coaching endurance athletes
for 10 years. He helped organize several triathlons last year, including
the Peaks to Prairie Triathlon. Jay placed second in the 2005 Big
Sky Stage Games Triathlon and won in 2006. He has finished seven Hawaii
Ironman World Championships in less than 9 hours and 48 minutes. Jay was
also the first amateur to win the Gulf Coast 1/2 Ironman in Florida.

Kate Novakovich
Commissioner

Kate has been involved with the State
Games since moving to Montana in 1996. She has completed 48
marathons, two triathlons, and has been the past
president of the Yellowstone Rimrunners Running Club, Road
Runners Club of America Volunteer of the Year for 2007, and
Osborn Volunteer of the Year for Big Sky State Games in
2007. Kate is also the Race Director for the Montana
Marathon. Working with the Triathlon in past years Kate has
been the volunteer coordinator, this is her first year as
Commissioner. She works in Billings School District 2 as
a Speech and Communication Aide for special needs preschool
kids.
