Jeff Carroll Jeff Carroll returns for his 14th year as Volleyball Commissioner. Jeff is the 23-year head coach of Billings Senior High's Volleyball team winning State Championships in 1991, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, & 2008 and finished as runner-ups in 1995, 1996, 1998 and 2001. The Montana Coaches Association named Jeff "Coach of the Year" in 1991, 1992, 1997, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 and he was named the 1999-2000 NFCA Northwest Section Coach of the Year. In 2007, he was a NHSACA National Coach of the Year Nominee. He has coordinated the Montana "AA" All-Star Match for the past 20 years. In August 2009, Jeff will be inducted into the Montana Coaches Hall of Fame.
A veteran to the State Games, Mike Nys served as the Tennis Commissioner for six years. Mike returns for his eleventh year as Volleyball Commissioner. He has participated in State Games volleyball since 1986, and tennis competitions for ten years. At Eastern Montana College, Mike played collegiate tennis and volleyball. He went on to coach tennis and volleyball at Billings Senior High and serve as an assistant coach at Rocky Mountain College and at T.K. Gorman High in Tyler, Texas. |
